Caricature

Hello readers! This will be my second assignment given by my lecture Miss Sheila. Caricature, based on Wikipedia, "a picture description, or imitation of a person in which certain striking characteristic are exaggerated in order to create a comic or grotesque effect". I used my best friend, Zara Rozli, a Film student in my campus, as my model for the picture i drew.

As you can see from the artwork, i exaggerated her nose and glasses to make it more appealing. In conclusion, this assignment allow me to focus a specific part of a human body and changes its size shape, but also remain true to it's anatomy and structure.

Basic Shape Character Design

My first assignment that was given by my lecture Miss Sheila. A fun and challenging task that encourage students to use more simple design in making their characters. The character on the corner left (wolf) uses Trapezoid as their body shape. The second character (kangaroo) uses circle. While, the third on the top (fox) uses rectangles, and lastly, the bottom right (dog) uses triangle. In conclusion, this assignment encourages me to use more simple design on my character to make my character more memorable and interesting.
